DTA Standards exposure drafts (tranche 2)
Overview
On 26 February 2026, we opened consultation on Tranche 2 of the Deposit Takers Act 2023 (DTA) Standards.
This consultation package includes exposure drafts of the:
- Governance Standard
- Risk Management Standard
- Disclosure Statements Standard
- Business Transfers, Holding Entity, and Restricted Activities Standard
- Reporting Standard.
The package also includes accompanying guidance for each standard.
We have published a cover note which provides background on the consultation, sets out the rationale behind the drafting of the exposure draft standards and guidance, and asks some consultation questions.
Technical feedback sought
Following policy consultation and decisions made across 2024 and 2025, we are now seeking technical feedback from interested stakeholders on the exposure drafts.
This consultation aims to identify any technical issues, ensuring the final version is effective and aligns with policy intent.
